Consular fees and processing time
Before consular service is provided you will receive a bill that must be paid in the bank (the nearest branch - Nørre Afdeling).
Consular services will be provided upon presentation of bank receipt that should be submitted to the Consular Section till 12.30 am on the day of payment.
Visitors are strongly requested not to pay consular fees in advance.
Attention: Consular fees are not refundable.

Attention: the Consular Section has the right to determine processing time of applications!
The consular fee for issuing single, double or multiple visas for guests of employees of Danish diplomatic and consular representations is 280 DKK. It is free of charge for close relatives (parents, spouse, children, grandparents). Processing time is usually 7 working days.

Attention: private, work and study visas for long-term education do not fall into the scope of the Agreement!

According to the Agreement there are no consular fees for the following categories of persons:
- for close relatives - spouses, children (including adopted) parents (including custodians), grandparents and grandchildren-of citizens of the European Union legally residing in the territory of the Russian Federation (refers only to foreign citizens, who reside in Russia and invite to Russia their close relatives, who reside in the EU);
- for members of official delegations who shall participate in meetings, consultations, negotiations or exchange programs in the territory of the Russian Federation;
- members of national and regional Governments and Parliaments, Constitutional Courts and Supreme Courts, if they are not exempted from the visa requirement by the present Agreement;
- pupils, students, post-graduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake trips for the purpose of study or educational training (if processing time is 10 days);
- disabled persons and the person accompanying them, if necessary;
- persons who have presented documents proving the necessity of their travel on humanitarian grounds, including to receive urgent medical treatment and the person accompanying such person, or to attend a funeral of a close relative, or to visit a close relative seriously ill;
- participants in youth international sports events and persons accompanying them (if processing time is 10 days);
- persons participating in scientific, cultural and artistic activities including university and other exchange programs (if processing time is 10 days);
- participants in official exchange programs organized by twin cities (if processing time is 10 days).
