On February 9, 2021, Arni Olsen Dam, the Honorary Consul of Russia to the Faroe Islands, died in Torshavn.

We express our deep condolences to family and friends.

1. keeping records of citizens of the Russian Federation temporarily staying or permanently residing in the territory of the consular district, ensuring the protection of their rights and interests within the framework of his competence;
2. taking measures to search for citizens of the Russian Federation who have gone missing on the territory of the consular district;
3. rendering assistance to the citizens of the Russian Federation who are on the territory of the consular district in the exercise of their electoral rights during elections to federal bodies of state power and the right to participate in the referendum of the Russian Federation;
4. taking measures to protect the rights and interests of citizens of the Russian Federation permanently residing on the territory of the consular district, over whom it is required to establish custody or guardianship;
5. provision of the necessary assistance to ships (vessels), aircraft, vehicles of road and rail transport registered or accounted for in the Russian Federation, and members of their crews (brigades) located on the territory of the consular district.
